TechnoAlpin is the world leader in snowmaking, thanks to its constant innovation, technical expertise and extensive know-how, from planning/design to turnkey snowmaking solutions.
The company had been using Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its ERP system at the Bolzano site for some time. The software was chosen after a comparison of costs with SAP which highlighted the advantages of Microsoft's ERP in terms of flexibility and ease of development.
Over the years, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, implemented by Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Var Prime, offered several advantages in terms of its coverage of the entire business process, simplified customisation and operational flexibility, and for these reasons the company decided to extend its use to all branches.
The simple implementation and customisation of the product was critical to integrating of the company’s numerous business locations, as it kept all data and processes completely uniform and centralised.
The unification of the databases on the SQL Server platform and the consequent full traceability by Microsoft Dynamics NAV of all operational data flows also offered a full overview of the business cycle, with information that can be analysed both in synthesis and in detail. The integration of accounting, finance and logistics functions on an international basis has also significantly increased the effectiveness of the production, sales and administrative processes, which are now supported by Microsoft Dynamics technology with a minimal investment of in-house IT resources.
Following the company's expansion into several European countries, TechnoAlpin's main need was to make information available to all its users and while also monitoring the annual results of the various departments and divisions.
After a careful evaluation of commercially available solutions, the decision was made to integrate the software already in use - Microsoft Dynamics NAV - with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, once again drawing on the expertise of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Var Prime. The main requirement was to create coherent relations between potential clients, existing clients, contacts, offers, orders and invoices, thus facilitating the exchange of information and data queries by simplifying terminal procedures.
Thanks to the adoption of the integrated solution between Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, it was finally possible to apply a global approach to business information and data analysis and exchange.
TechnoAlpin is thus now able to constantly monitor its commercial operations, so as to respond in a timely manner to the needs of its clients and the growth of the market itself.
