Cisaplast has been a leading international refrigeration brand for over 50 years. Its door and frame systems for commercial refrigerated counters are installed on every continent, bringing ease of use and efficiency to thousands of outlets in the most varied conditions.

The company
Cisaplast has now initiated its transition to the Industry 4.0 paradigm with continuous simplification of its activities, without changing the entire supply chain in terms of digitalisation or completely changing its processes. They needed the right tools to handle their strategic processes and a partner able to support their business growth and change.
Today the company makes around 35,000 frames and 200,000 doors each year, with a strong focus on international markets: indeed, Cisaplast generates around 70% of its turnover abroad. This on-going growth has led the company to continue working with its Italian partner Sirio.
The solution

The historical collaboration between Cisaplast and Sirio is emblematic: the software house's ability to listen and provide solutions has enabled the company to meet all its digitalisation needs. Cisaplast implements the latest release of SoftwareSirio ERP because this facilitates the introduction of new processes and new functions, that also represent an opportunity for the client. Sirio, in its almost fifty years of history, has continued to evolve, both by expanding its offering of software and by strengthening its team of professionals, and now boasts almost three hundred units in seven locations nationwide.

One of the main advantages of choosing an Italian software house is undoubtedly their familiarity with the target sector, which in many cases is developed in concert with the client. One of the prerogatives of the Italian market, to which manufacturing is no exception, is in fact its great specificity: winning solutions must be just as vertical, and this means that software houses like Sirio have acquired a capacity to listen and adapt over the years that is superior to that of their international competitors, who often prefer standardised solutions.

The benefits
Over the past ten years, from 2012 to 2022, Cisaplast’s turnover has more than doubled from 20 million to a projected almost 50 million for 2022.
This is thanks to the international credibility it has gained with its daily work and favourable contingent conditions - the renewed focus on consumption - from both an economic and green perspective. An additional plus proved to be Sirio's long-standing partnership with IBM, considered by the company to be the most secure platform for industrial solutions. This expertise is essential to maximising the value of Cisaplast's investments in its corporate infrastructure as well.
The future
SoftwareSirio V10 has already been integrated with the company's MES. Also noteworthy is the integration between the PDM software and the company registry, to streamline and speed up design as well, which is fundamental for a production company with a core business in custom projects. The next step, widely agreed upon, will be the introduction of automated vertical warehouses - able to dialogue directly with Sirio systems - to streamline its logistics processes to and from the company's international hubs.
