The previous system could no longer keep up with rapid changes or support service improvements effectively. Born in the Cloud, Kolme reaffirmed this technological choice, strengthening its identity as a highly innovative company by aligning all business processes in this direction.

The project based on S/4HANA in Public Cloud enabled Kolme to streamline and clarify administrative processes. Faster order management, always up-to-date and easily accessible data improve performance and communication with customers, increasing market appeal. The Cloud represents a path toward greater freedom from infrastructure burdens and IT risks, allowing the company to focus on customer needs and business growth.

Enhanced user experience as a competitive factor

Several aspects of the project made a real difference: the integration of machine learning increased the efficiency of financial operations by improving the speed and accuracy of reconciliations and reducing the need for manual intervention. In addition, SAP web APIs facilitated integration between different systems, enabling the simple and timely development of new services and improving the overall experience for retailers, who continue to choose Kolme for its strong ability to innovate. The integration of web APIs also played a key role in the project’s go-live, making it fast and smooth: downtime was minimal, and the company was able to continue invoicing without significant interruptions.
