Bangkok, June 16, 2025 - Var Group, leading digital integrator of digital services and solutions, announces the establishment of Yarix APAC (Yarix Asia Pacific) by the signing of a joint venture, strengthening its international market presence in the cybersecurity arena.

The new company, based in Bangkok, Thailand, will be 51 percent owned by CV Ventures, a Thai company with deep knowledge of the local market, and 49 percent owned by Yarix, Var Group's center of expertise dedicated to the cybersecurity universe, and will place a special focus on the Blue Team area, defensive security.

Yarix APAC will also support Var Group's Security Operation Center (SOC), a command center for monitoring information systems, ensuring continuous 24/7 coverage of companies and institutions through teams operating in different time zones according to the sustainable "Follow the Sun" model. The Follow the Sun model not only ensures uninterrupted protection but also optimizes analysts' well-being by avoiding night shifts and reducing work-related stress.

The cybersecurity market in Thailand is booming, with double-digit growth rates and a digital environment that is increasingly exposed to the issue of cyber risk. This makes the country a strategic area to preside over for those in the digital security industry. Thanks to the new base in Bangkok, we will expand the scope of our competence center, offering solutions aligned with the needs of enterprises, which require advanced protection from increasingly complex threats, with a sustainable model such as Follow The Sun, which we have already successfully implemented in our monitoring routine," said Mirko Gatto, Head of Cybersecurity at Var Group.

The joint venture is part of the cybersecurity competence center's internationalization plan, which since 2022 has seen the opening of offices in Italy and Europe, as well as in Mexico and India, for a total of 13 offices in 6 countries worldwide, a consolidated turnover of 50 million euros and 400 resources.

Fabrizio Saltalippi, International Manager of Var Group, added, "With the establishment of Yarix APAC, Var Group consolidates its global presence and continues on the path of international growth. The goal is to strengthen our role as a multinational operator capable of accompanying companies on their digital transformation paths, wherever they are. Our strategy is based on a balance between global vision and local roots, enabling us to offer integrated, flexible solutions that are consistent with the needs of different markets. In an increasingly interconnected and competitive environment, the ability to operate in a coordinated manner on a global scale is a strategic advantage for us and our clients."

Dr. Varin Khera, CTO and Co-founder of CV Ventures, commented further that: "Thailand is undergoing an unprecedented digital acceleration, which brings immense opportunities but also exposes us to sophisticated new cyber threats. It is a pivotal moment for our nation's digital security. This joint venture with Var Group to establish Yarix APAC is a direct response to this urgent need. By combining our deep understanding of the local landscape with Yarix's world-class cybersecurity expertise and innovative 'Follow the Sun' model, we are not just launching a service; we are building a bastion for our digital economy. We are confident that Yarix APAC will empower Thai enterprises to innovate and grow securely, establishing our Bangkok operations as the strategic hub for Var Group's cybersecurity expansion across the entire Asia-Pacific region."
