Recent significant revenue growth had rendered the company's existing technological infrastructure inadequate. Navigating growing complexity, Spazio needed to rethink its processes from a new perspective, leveraging more reliable and flexible tools. They also needed to streamline company data so that, with just a few simple steps, they could reconstruct historical data or retrieve comprehensive information more quickly, thanks to more streamlined processes.

Simplify the sales process

The choice fell on SAP S/4HANA, a scalable solution customized to the specific needs of the plumbing and heating product distribution sector. From profitability analysis to margin management; from purchasing to requirements planning; from item coding to physical warehouse management, including merchandise location and inventory, everything is covered by SAP functionality. Spazio warehouses use SAP-integrated radio frequency terminals that scan products, enabling real-time tracking of sales orders and customer history. SAP also manages the entire sales process, including integration with e-commerce, over-the-counter, and self-service.

Data stability and integrity

By choosing SAP and Var BMS, Var Group's SAP Competence Center, Spazio was able to integrate a structured ERP system that allows for simple, effective, and problem-solving with minimal disruption and no service interruptions. Thanks to SAP, a new methodology has taken shape, redesigning processes both in daily operations and in the way internal resources operate.
