Var Group cycles at Giro-E for nonprofit association “C'è Da Fare” during the Giro D'Italia
A team of Var Group cyclists will involve 25 people in a relay race that will travel five stages
to support adolescents through psychological and neuropsychiatric support projects
Empoli, May 12, 2025 - Var Group, leading digital integrator of digital services and solutions, is cycling for the first time in support of “C'è Da Fare” al Giro-E, an exclusive e-bike experience taking place during the days and on the roads of the Giro d'Italia. The relay race aboard e-bikes will raise awareness of sustainable mobility, but also support “C'è Da Fare” ETS, a nonprofit organization founded in 2023 by Paolo Kessisoglu and Silvia Rocchi with the goal of providing psychotherapeutic and neuropsychiatric support to young people.
Var Group will take part in five stages (from Camerino to Sestriere) and will involve a group of 25 people, who will take turns riding their e-bikes in a relay race. In all stages the team will be captained by Andrea Tonti, one of the most renowned cyclists of the 2000s and Co-Founder of Bike Division Tour Operator.
The kilometers grinded by the Var Group team during the Giro-E, along with the donation to the Association for cycling uniforms by passionate employees, will help consolidate “C'è Da Fare” ’s projects and expand its reach to new provinces and regions.

“Since Var Group was born, we have chosen to do business responsibly, putting people at the center and supporting the territories in which we operate,” said Giovanni Moriani, chairman of Var Group. "For Var Group, sustainability, innovation and social commitment are inseparable. In addition, we strongly believe in the values of sport that cycling embodies such as tenacity, discipline and passion. Supporting the association “C'è Da Fare” was therefore a natural choice, and we hope to make a decisive contribution in offering support to young people facing mental health-related problems."
C'è Da Fare organizes and promotes fundraisers through sporting, recreational and cultural events to allocate resources to hospital and healthcare facilities or third-party entities that can provide assistance to adolescents in need and their families.
The association was founded in 2023 out of an awareness of the worsening mental health conditions of adolescents, a reality already evident before but exacerbated by the 2020 pandemic. Specifically, on a national scale, data show increased access to pediatric emergency departments for causes of mental decompensation, such as suicidal ideation (+147%), depression (+115%), eating disorders (+78.4%) and psychosis (+17.2%), self-harm (+27%), and social isolation (Hikikomori) with a consequent increase in hospitalizations for particularly serious situations as well (+39.5%).
"We founded C'è Da Fare with the urgency to respond to a silent emergency: the psychological distress of adolescents. Seeing more and more realities cycling alongside us excites us and encourages us to always give our best. It means there is a growing and shared awareness of the importance of taking care of young people's mental health. Every initiative like this is a concrete step toward a more caring, supportive and humane future." - Paolo Kessisoglu, President of C'è Da Fare ETS.
"Collaborating with Var Group allows us to amplify our impact and take our projects to new cities and territories. Choosing to support our mission during an event like the Giro-E is a symbolic and powerful gesture: tackling the climbs together, stage by stage, to give boys and girls real tools with which to tackle theirs. It's just a start, but it's a start that runs fast." - Silvia Rocchi, General Director of C'è Da Fare ETS.
